Chapter House expansion to archive and cathedral museum in Merseburg

Owner: Vereinigte Domstifter zu Merseburg, Naumburg und des Kollegiatstifts Zeitz, Domplatz 16 / 17, 06618 Naumburg

During the remodeling of the chapter house, including an expansion for a new archive and cathedral museum, a new gas fire prevention system was installed to protect the valuable art objects and books. The purge areas extend in the ground floor to the showrooms and in the upper floor to the library.

Timeframe: Early 2005

Construction value: approx. €66,000.00 (CO2 fire extinguishing system)
